The spiritual theme is as comprehensive as life itself. From Higher Self to magic and manifestation, there is an infinite range of possibilities, powers and abilities that we possess and have the capacity to develop. Whichever stage we are in or whatever "power" we want to master, we should take into account something that is not mentioned very often:
Chaos and control
These two aspects are intrinsically connected. Although they may seem to be complete opposites, they are more of a paradox.
If we seek our nature, our true self, we should understand that nature is chaotic.
It has been proven that the same thing that causes order / control is compose of the same building blocks that causes chaos. Something organized easily becomes chaotic and vice versa and within chaos itself there is order as well as within order, chaos is present.
If we look inside this is even more evident. The same forces (emotions, values, thoughts, knowledge, etc.) that give us control are the same that generate chaos and under those same forces is that chaos & control is expressed, just as in what we call nature.
Like the "butterfly effect", we can have the best mood in the world, feel untouchable, feel happiness and pleasure, but a nail breaks and chaos begins. A change, no matter how slight, has the potential to create total destruction, and yet we see how within our chaos everything is taking shape if we accept that change is inevitable and one of the safest things in life.
We can use this to better understand our behaviors around our traumas for example. Our traumas are chaos (inevitable lack of control/order), our adaptation and defense mechanisms are "order" however we have grown learning to control our chaos from the "victim" of our circumstances perspective. But it does'nt end there, does it? our traumas make us sick emotionally, physically and energetically. In addition, these defense and adaptation mechanisms generate behaviors and beliefs in us that have the potential to become new traumas in addition to unnecessary "extra chaos".
If we keep that vision that they are two totally opposite concepts, we get stuck in an eternal "loop". However, by bringing them together internally, the picture changes dramatically.
If before we saw it as: our traumas are chaos and our defense and adaptation mechanisms are: our control, when uniting them, both are chaos and control at the same time.
This is sure to become clear when we objectively and with better clarity appreciate the chaos that these "controls" have generated in our lives, and also how when we open up or unleash our internal "chaos" the possibility of order opens up.
Seeing it from the spiritual side, seeking healing, connection and assertion, we identify these traumas not under the false impression of changing the past, but to change the meaning we gave to that past and thus aligning our own present and our behaviors with our true life's purpose, with abundance and prosperity.
When defense mechanisms are no longer protecting us from things that are no longer true/real [we have to understand that energetically these defense mechanisms are continuously consuming energy to have "strength" for when we need them and chemically they are constantly sending substances that keep these forces active]; As they no longer have the burden of protecting us from the past, they have a new capacity to "protect" us in the present, which is what we really need, being able to be fully present to see and appreciate (physically, emotionally and energetically) the possibilities of the moment.
At this point, we will be behaving as our own individual nature dictates: chaotic. Like the clouds that responds to heat and makes it rain, like the tree that receives winds and bends its trunk to continue growing, like the tide that rises in the light of the moon. Responding to the moment, as our own divine nature deserves and calls us too, letting the moments leave just as they arrived, like the sun that rises after the storm and nourishes everything it touches with its energy.
Organized chaos and patterns that are born from chaos give us options that if we pay attention and learn to adapt, to appreciate change; it allow us to appreciate the possibilities of the moment and achieve the result most aligned with our true individual purpose.
It is not about living in chaos now, remember that I am talking about the spiritual meaning of these concepts, it is about little by little rediscovering ourselves, releasing our traumas and releasing our defense mechanisms, what we have integrated so far as true and open ourselves to the moment, so that we get to know our divine nature and appreciate from a more intimate point our chaos and how we can use it to manifest healthily and in perfect alignment with our life's purpose.
This brings us to true balance, where we are not negatively affected by changes, where each change (chaos and order) is a new opportunity to live our magic.
How has "chaos and order" expressed itself in your life so far?
