When we are in the darkness its hard to find the light we feel the desolation, the confusion, the loneliness, we cannot see ourselves, we look in every direction and all we see is darkness and more desperation, and so once we see light, its all we see and the high of finding light is so strong that we completely forget about the darkness. We keep walking and nothing else takes our attention. We are so desperate to finally reach it and see that we forget where we are. So sometimes we need a little reminder that we are still in the darkness following the light. We see it, we might know we are getting closer, we may even feel it, still we are not there yet. If we blind ourselves with the light and block the darkness completely we might get pulled back into darkness if we stray our sight for a second. We live in the dimension of darkness, and we are bound to look around us for the need of safety. Here is where we come to experience, understand and learn how if feels to be in complete darkness from what we *do while in the darkness.
Now, we hear dark and think of bad and that is the human way to survive that which we don't see. But one should not confuse it with darkness. Darkness is a place to hold the light. One cannot exist without the other and its a balance found in all. For light to be, a place to hold it have to exist too. This is the dimension of darkness because here is where matter-dark matter meet and make up what *humans understand as "matter reality". Here is where we are born with an understanding that we lose, so we can grow thru experiences in the darkness and find our way to the light.
So in darkness even if we don't see each other, we are all following the same light. If we push, we might fall later. If we are pushed and decide to push back we could both fall or maybe push someone by mistake that we didn't mean to and make them fall. If we stand still we make it harder for the ones behind. If we run, we make it harder for the ones on front. If we keep silent we hear but no-one hear us. We might get there by our own means, but we left everyone else behind. If we tell them the steps to take they might fall because we cannot see from where they are standing we can only know what we did to get to where we are and only see where we are. So, how do we get to the light without falling, not pushing so no-one falls and so we don't fall later by stepping on them, and without imposing our ways because we cannot see from everybody's perspective? We use our voice with consideration for all, meaning we listen and we speak. We move as together as we can and this does not mean we have to stay behind or delay our progress to do this, you can keep listening to the others while leading the way. We can ask what do they feel, what can they see, how far is the light from where they are and we can help with our own experience of the journey, our understanding of the desperation darkness brings and the compassion for the difficulty of the journey. To get there and believe "if it was hard for me, let them figure it out" means you did not learn anything while in the darkness even if you found your way to the light, your journey is far from over. The light will teach you how as important is the place that holds her. Since with out one, the other cannot exist and darkness takes a hold again. Because, no matter how many times we wonder, the chicken did not came before the egg.
In this dimension of matter-dark matter, light and darkness, energy and a place to hold it - we are just the same. Meaning all there is, we are too and so we can also rediscover that if we are in darkness and darkness its a place to hold the light then that means WE are the light too. So we can shine and light our way and the way for others so they can see where they decide to step next.
One might think that we are alone because we cannot see anybody else in the darkness with us, but if we listen carefully we will hear the screams for help and one can only keep going, ask for someone to help us or offer the help ourselves.
Whatever we decide to do in the darkness is up to us, since this is our journey just like the consequences are ours to bare. Just remember, even in complete darkness you know what you are doing and, with light, you'll be able to really look at yourself. And so, what will you see or better yet what do you want to see?
May this help someone
Blessed be
