Secret Garden- Common Plants & Herbs and Magical Uses

Want to give a break to Sage, Palo Santo, Dragons Blood, etc.?

Lets talk about:

Common Plants & Herbs and Magical Uses

These common plants and herbs can be use for the same purposes as Sage, White Sage, Palo Santo and Dragons Blood, but are not in danger and are more easily found (many are commonly used as spices for cooking) and have many magical uses. Next time you go to the supermarket checkout the spices and the tea section.

Rosemary, Mint, Cumin, Basil and Clove banish negative energies.

Cinnamon, Apple, Ginger, Maple, Vanilla, Apricot, Sugar Cane, Thyme, Avocado, Basil, Beans, Capers, Clove, Rosemary, Papaya, Lemon, Chili Pepper attract Love (remember Love is Love, they can be used for self-love, to find love, to bring more love into the family, into your work space, to your community, etc.).

Cinnamon and Bay Leaves aid in Spiritual Journey: Astral Travel, connecting with Guides and Meditation.

Peppermint, Thyme and Rosemary are good for better sleep.

Olive, Lavender and Vervain have energetic properties that instill peace and harmony into self and spaces.

Basil, Mint, Ginger, Nutmeg and Cinnamon help when we need money.

Chili Pepper to break Hexes.

Turmeric, Thyme, Nutmeg, Coriander, and Flax Seed keeps us healthy.

Sunflower, Pomegranate, Grape, Peach, Fig, Nuts and cucumbers increase fertility.

You can cook with some, burn them (like you would do with sage and others), with others you can make fragrances, you can also make jewelry, decorate your home to bring these energies inside and you can also stash them inside diy small poppets or a small handmade bag to always have with you.

*These are only some of the most commonly use and easily found; for more a very good start is Scott Cunningham’s books: Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs and The Secret Craft of the Wise Magical Herbalism.

If you have read these already and want some more recommendations let me know, I have read some very good ones!

May this help someone

Blessed be
