Shadow Self

The Shadow Self is who you were before the trauma. It's your dreams and goals before you were told you were'nt enough or you couldn't do this or that. It is your sexual pleasure without "buts" without judgment (here we ALL have much to heal, personal and ancestral). It's what you want. And it's what you don't know you want but still haunts you today. When we deny our individual reality for a collective one, we detract from the greatness of the universe. That being true for each of us, it creates the world we live in today, one without much of its own personality. We have become reactivity. We go through life preaching accepting others while not accepting ourselves personally. The Shadow Self is the door to your emotional freedom, balance and true acceptance. The darkest part of you are still part of you even if you deny them and hide them. It will come out somewhere like steam looking for scape. It will burn and irritate any and all aspects of your life until you learn to integrate it healthily into your consciousness. Each person is different. But do not doubt that we all have a Shadow Self and that it affects EVERYONE if we do not find a balance and healthy ways to satisfy who we really are. You may (in your particular case) reach old age pleased with the experiences (if you're lucky), but you may still feel that your life is gone. Come on, for what or why do we want that when we can fully enjoy each moment and with the understanding that time is only a drawer where memories are stored in an orderly manner. Give yourself a few minutes and ask yourself: how does my Shadow Self reflect my journey? Sometimes we do not like the answer, sometimes we are not ready, it is completely normal and expected. Traumas are not easy and overcoming them requires a lot of emotional strength that ironically weakens through the trauma itself. Do not worry or despair. Everything arrives in its proper order. One of the most unexpected and bearable but effective ways to connect with your Shadow Self if you don't know what it is or can't figure out how it affects you is to find and / or spend time on your favorite hobby. That which makes time stop and the hours go by. Enjoy the feeling and then pay attention to the difference of emotions in the different aspects and relationships in your life. Little by little you will discover your true tastes and passions and you will question where the different qualities that make up the "personality" that you thought you were came from, that's where the Shadow Work begins.

There are more direct and faster ways but much more intense and require a lot of strength, if you are going through the trauma or if you still break down thinking about it, maybe this is not the time unless you feel the call to do it. If you're ready, I'll share some of them with you tomorrow. * If you are going through a situation where your life and / or health is in danger, seek help. It is almost impossible to do it I know, I was there. But this stranger believes in you. What is in me, is in you. We are light and I only ask the universe that we all learn to shine. Seek help. You are worth much more than a moment in time.
