There is so much to each of us. We all have a whole universe inside of us and we sell ourselves short. We are one but many as well, we are the all and ourselves. Division and separation has been the way for too long now. There is a delicate balance in all things and that applies to separation. Everything has more than one aspect, even when we are by ourselves and when we fail to recognize or at least accept these, that is when we miss the unity in the separation concept. The same way some fanatics fail to see the same (that everything has more than one aspect) and miss the separation in the unity concept.
Life and all that it involves, is not simply defined by what we see or perceive as reality because, our survival instincts, emotions and past experiences shape what we internalize as truth, and based on those instincts alone is that we act and react, see and perceive, live and behave, love and hate, observe and judge. We are a universe, surrounded by universes within a universe, surrounded by universes.
Something to think about:
Think of a Chair. We all know what it is. If we see one, we know what it is for. We can describe it and even make it if we really wanted to. Humanity has given a meaning and a use to it and so, we all know, right? As a collective we "understand" a chair.
But if we look to the individual who thinks or see's the chair, each has different personal meanings for it. For some, it may bring a feeling of comfort and for someone else, the total opposite. Some may think of one particular chair that reminds them of a loved one or a special occasion or even a favorite one while others may have a hard time picturing one even if they know how they look like and have chairs of their own. For some is a place to sit and rest, and for others is their means to move around.
And, if we pay attention to all, the chair is not just a chair, is it? It is the sum of its parts and the people who made it. It is the materials it is made from and the history behind them. It is an idea manifested. Creativity and Creation. A necessity satisfied. A moment in time. A conscious shift of energy. A space filled. A hidden paradox. Unity of forces. Balance. Harmony in perfect order. Purpose.
So you see, even a chair is more than what society/humanity see's and perceives in their personal reality. This is the delicate balance between separation and unity. The dance of the self with the music of the world.
Open your mind to wonder and life takes a whole new meaning.
May this help someone
