To experience the world only with our minds, it is like going on a Country ride and only looking at the GPS screen. You might get there if you put the coordinates right, you might know how traffic is and have a good guess of how long might take the journey, but you still might crash, and you are definitely missing the view.
To experience the world only with our emotions is like shrinking ourselves to the size of an ant taking the same Country ride. You are part of the view, you can see everything so vivid, and everything is part of you, but you can only see what it is close to you and everything would seem too big or too far and overwhelming since you could only pay attention to your immediate surroundings.
To experience the world only with our hearts, it is like being in the middle of the road, having all perspective and the fears of the ant and with the wrong coordinates on the GPS. We feel lost even though we might know where we are and what we are seeing. If we move, still we will be second guessing every decision.
To experience the world with both our minds and emotions in balance, is like having the GPS with the sound on, the right coordinates and the screen off, we can pick up our ant and hold it higher so she can have a better view and be completely present so our hearts can experience the world and enjoy the view riding with confidence.
May this help someone
